    Five Parts, One Job

    Strip a disposable down conceptually and there are five components: a lithium battery, a control board, a heating coil, an absorbent wick, and a reservoir of e-liquid. Everything else is housing, airflow channels, and an indicator.

    The job of the assembly is to turn a small amount of liquid into an inhalable aerosol on demand, then stop the instant demand ends.

    Draw Activation: The Pressure Sensor

    There is no fire button on a Lost Mary device. Instead a small pressure sensor, often called a microphone sensor because of how it is built, sits in the airflow path. Inhaling drops the air pressure inside the channel, the sensor detects the change, and the control board closes the circuit between battery and coil.

    The whole sequence takes milliseconds, which is why vapor appears to arrive with the draw rather than after it. Stop inhaling and the sensor returns to rest, the circuit opens, and heating stops. Every current model across the Lost Mary range uses draw activation.

    This design explains two common behaviors. A very light puff may not move enough air to trip the sensor. A blocked air intake produces the same result, since no air movement means no pressure change.

    The Coil and the Wick

    The coil is the heater. Modern devices use mesh rather than a wound wire: a thin metal sheet perforated with a fine pattern, giving a larger and more even heating surface. The MT35000 Turbo, MT15000 Turbo, and Nera Fullview 70K use dual mesh coils; the MO20000 Pro and Off Stamp X-Cube use mesh coils. The VIZ 55K uses what Lost Mary describes as triple-layer atomization.

    Wrapped around or against the coil sits the wick, an absorbent material that draws e-liquid from the reservoir by capillary action and holds it against the metal. When current flows, the coil heats the liquid held in the wick until it becomes an aerosol.

    Refill rate is the constraint that governs the whole system. Draw faster than the wick reabsorbs and the metal heats a partly dry wick, which is the mechanism behind burnt taste.

    The E-Liquid

    E-liquid is a mixture of propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin as carriers, flavorings, and nicotine, most commonly in salt form at 5 percent, which is 50mg/mL, across the Lost Mary lineup. Some MT15000 Turbo flavors are also offered at 2 percent, or 20mg/mL, in our 20mg collection.

    The glycerin content largely determines vapor density; the propylene glycol carries flavor and contributes throat feel. Capacity varies by device, from 16mL on the MT15000 Turbo up to 24mL on the Nera Fullview 70K.

    The Battery and Control Board

    A lithium-ion cell supplies the power, from 600mAh on the MT15000 Turbo to 1000mAh on the MT35000 Turbo. The control board sits between the cell and coil and does more than switch current: it regulates output so the last puff performs like the first, enforces a maximum firing duration, monitors for short circuits, and drives the indicator.

    Sealed Versus Pod Systems

    A sealed disposable holds coil, wick, and liquid permanently inside the body. When the liquid finishes, the device is done.

    A pod system such as the Nera Fullview 70K splits the device: the body holds the battery and board, while a replaceable pre-filled pod holds the liquid, wick, and coil. Swapping the pod installs a fresh coil at the same time, which is why its rated capacity reaches 70,000 puffs.

    Do disposable vapes have a button?

    Lost Mary devices are draw-activated, so no. The pressure sensor in the airflow path starts and stops the coil automatically.

    What is a mesh coil?

    A perforated metal sheet used as the heating element instead of a coiled wire. The larger surface area heats more evenly and is the standard across the current lineup.

    Why does the device get slightly warm?

    Converting electrical energy to heat is the whole point of the coil, and some of that heat reaches the housing. Mild warmth is expected. A device that becomes genuinely hot should be set aside and reported to the seller.

    What is inside the vapor?

    Can I refill a sealed disposable?
